Welcome to the Janada L. Batchelor Foundation for Children’s (JBFC) homepage.  JBFC is a non-profit organization which operates a home for orphaned and abandoned girls in Tanzania, East Africa.  Currently, JBFC operates one campus in a small village called Kitongo on the southern shore of Lake Victoria, approximately 30 miles east of Mwanza city.  There are 5 buildings which house a director, guests, 23 children and 9 full-time staff.  JBFC also started a farm and livestock area which helps alleviate some of the operating expenses associated with running this center.  We encourage you to take a look around our website and get involved with JBFC.  We are constantly growing and want you to get involved today!
