Child sponsorship is one of the most important ways you can provide hope and a future to the precious children in our care at The Janada L. Batchelor Foundation for Children, Inc. (JBFC). Child sponsorship reflects the vision of everything we do here in Kitongo, Tanzania, East Africa - rescuing, loving and caring for the hurting and hopeless child.

We currently provide a safe and loving home to more than 30 girls that have been rescued from desperate and intolerable situations. Many more abused children are waiting to come join us at JBFC when we raise the financial resources needed to expand our capacity. We currently have several houses and a dining hall for our children, housemothers and other staff on our 40-acre campus in Kitongo. Our new English-medium school, completed in January, provides a quality education for our JBFC children as well as children from surrounding villages. We are dedicated to helping the children become successful, productive adults who will make a difference in their world.

TRANSFORMING LIVES Connecting you with our children at JBFC through sponsorship enables you to learn more about them personally. Upon making your financial commitment, you will receive a packet containing information about a child, telling her individual story, along with a photograph. There are several levels of sponsorship and each level makes a priceless difference in a child's daily life. 1. Child in Residence - Total Support
   $600 a year

   This sponsorship covers the costs for a high quality education in our new English-medium primary school including tuition, books and supplies for one deserving outreach child not in our immediate care at JBFC who otherwise would not be able to afford a good education.
